South Beach - Picnic tables and grills Walk the beach, find a tidal pool, wonderful hiking.
Jakle's Lagoon - Picnic tables and grills. Hike on Mount Finlayson for spectacular views and wildlife, mostly deer and foxes.
Cattle Point Lighthouse - Walk over windswept fields to the lighthouse. See the restored Coast Guard radio station. Picnic tables, BBQ.
False Bay, Bailer Hill Road. See the Frank Lloyd Wright house
Lavender Farm - Tour lavender fields in bloom July - September.
Lime Kiln Park- Whale watching displays describing whales, porpoises and dolphins. Walk to the lighthouse. High rocky banks – limited beach access. picnic tables.
San Juan County Park - Whale watching Gentle beach on Smallpox Bay, woods, trails, snorkeling, views of the Olympic mountains, whales and Victoria, British Columbia. Public park. Overnight camping - 20 campsites (no RV hook-ups). Picnic tables, BBQ, drinking water. Small boat Ramp. Nice bathrooms.
Krystal Acres Alpaca Farm - Beautiful alpacas on groomed meadows.
English Camp - Seasonal visitor center and exhibits, historic buildings and English garden. Picnic tables, hiking.
Westcott Bay Road - might see eagles lunching in the afternoon
Westcott Bay Sculpture Park – Juried sculptures allowing visitors to respond with tenderness, fear, awe, and love
Roche Harbor - Historic resort, lodging, shops, restaurants, spa, marina. Nice bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities.
San Juan Vineyards and Mona the Camel - Local wine tasting and charming historic schoolhouse.. Great place for a wedding.
